ROOM INFORMATION:

All rooms have showers or baths, toilets, hair dryers, colour digital television, tea/coffee making facilities and a mini bar. St Breock comes with its own Private Lounge, with Flat Screen Colour TV and DVD Player.

TELEPHONE BOOKINGS:

Rooms reserved for 5 days only to allow for a £40.00 non refundable deposit per person per week or part thereof. In the event of cancellation every effort will be made to relet the accommodation, but it is wise to insure your holiday against all cancellation risks, Any cancellations made within 14 days of the date of arrival there will be a cancellation charge equal to 2/3rds of the cost of the booking.

HOLIDAY BOOKINGS:

Check in is between 2.30pm and 9.30pm on the day of arrival and check out is by10.30am on the date of departure.  Breakfast is served from 8.30am to 9.30am.

PAYMENT:

We accept Visa & MasterCard or payment can be made by cheque on the day of departure.

Introduction

We are a Four en-suite bedroom Guest House offering bed and breakfast (choice menu).

Pre-Arrival

• The nearest public transport is at St. Issey approximately 3/4mile.
   
• The nearest Train Station is at Bodmin Parkway approximately 30 minutes by car.
   
• Newquay Airport is 25 minutes by car.

 

• We can book a local taxi or car hire on your behalf.
   
• To find us by car take A.30 to Bodmin Town, next take A389 to Wadebridge, taking the Bypass, next take A389 to Padstow, before entering the village of St. Issey there are signs to The Pickwick Restaurant, follow these, at Pickwicks continue on the same road - DO NOT TURN INTO PICKWICKS - We are approximately 500yards on the left.
  
  Arrival & Car Parking Facilities
   
• There is ample free car parking on site.  The surface is a mixture of concrete and gravel, there is a slight slope between the car park and the path to the house.
  
  Main Entrance, Reception & Ticketing Area

 

• The Entrance door is 83cm wide, no steps.  We offer assistance with your luggage.  The Entrance door opens inwards via a lever door handle; the door is unlocked 7.30am - 10.30pm. Guests have their own key.  The front entrance is tiled.   There are two Ground Floor bedrooms and the Dining Room is also on the Ground Floor.

• The Dining Room Door width 83cm.  Ground floor corridors and stairs are carpeted and well lit.

• The Dining Room is on the Ground Floor. The dining chairs have no arms and the chairs are movable. Dining Table height is 75cm and 91cm square.  The floor is tiled. Double Doors open out onto the Lawn via 2 steps.  Assistance is always available with any aspect of the Menus.

• The two Ground Floor bedrooms have door widths of 81cm.  The shower/toilet door widths are 79cm both are fitted with 900mm x 1400mm shower trays, glass sliding doors, grab handles and power showers.  Bedroom floors are carpeted and the Shower areas are tiled.

 

• One of the First Floor bedrooms has Bath with overhead Power Shower and hand rail.
• The First Floor Suite includes En-Suite and Separate Lounge.

• The first floor room has a five foot bed all with pocket sprung mattresses. All rooms have Egyptian Cotton bed linen.

• We are overlooking the Camel Trail.  St. Enodoc Golf course is approx. 5 miles. Trevose Golf Club similar distance. The Eden Project is approx. 25minutes away.  Lanhydrock National Trust House and Gardens approx 20 minutes with the Lanhydrock Golf Course nearby.
   

• You can walk from Higher Trevorrick to Padstow via a footpath and the Camel Trail approx. 40 minute walk.

 
Grounds and Gardens

 

• The large garden is mostly lawn with a gentle slope. The remaining six acres is a grass field.

 

Additional Information  
 

• Higher Trevorrick has been totally rebuilt, the rooms and furnishing are brand new it  is very quiet and restful with wonderful views, having run a very successful Cornish hotel for twenty years we are running Higher Trevorrick in a similar vein.

 

• We do not accept children under the age of 16 years.
   
• Rooms are equipped with a mini bar fridge which can be used for medication storage.
   
• Smoking is allowed outside the house.
